I am an urban planner in Seattle, Washington. I grew up on Vashon Island, Washington, and studied International Affairs at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon and Urban Planning and Design at the University of Washington. I served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay for two years, four months, working in the Education and Youth Development sector, primarily working on early Spanish literacy programs in primary schools and with small rural libraries. I have subsequently worked with Burn Design Labs, Stewardship Forestry, the City of Burien, and Community Day School Association. In 2016 I studied housing and urban form in Copenhagen Denmark, funded by the Valle Scholarship. I love to travel and to learn about the history of the places I have visited or lived.
